Our Associate Director

Angela Quarles

Angela Quarles became involved in the Technology Student Association as a junior high student, an experience that inspired her to pursue a career in engineering and technology education. After 31 years as a teacher and TSA advisor, she served multiple terms on the Georgia TSA Board of Directors, contributed to TSA competitive event development through her role on the National TSA Curricular Resources Committee. She has been actively involved in professional associations, including ACTE, ITEEA, Georgia eTED, and GETEA, where she has held various leadership positions. In June 2024, Mrs. Quarles became Georgia TSA’s first Associate Director, continuing her commitment to advancing CTAE through program development, student leadership initiatives, and educator support.

The Georgia Technology Student Association is a charter affiliate of National TSA and dedicated to middle and high school students enrolled or previously enrolled or that have an interest in engineering & technology education pathway and STEM Education programs. Georgia Technology Student Association (TSA) chapters prepare students to be successful inventors, designers, creative problem solvers, responsible citizens and leaders who will influence and build the future.
