Fall Leadership Conference

Our normally produced Fall Leadership Conference is designed to provide Georgia TSA members and advisors the opportunity to increase their leadership, communication, and team building skills by attending hands-on workshops, seminars and general sessions. This conference also provides for chapter members and advisors to gain knowledge and skills in relation to our Competitive events Program by attending hands on workshops, seminars, and sessions during our Technical Sessions.
As with our first two conferences the Covid Epidemic made it impossible to conduct the on-site conference on Jekyll Island this year. Under the circumstances we will redesign FLC into a virtual format. We will be producing an on-line Opening Session, which will feature our state officer team, a great keynote speaker, Dr. Laymon Hicks, the results from Virtual Tech Days on Saturday, November 14th, 2020. We will be providing Leadership and Technical Sessions on video produced by successful chapters as well as alumni and our state officers via the EMS to registered participants for at least two weeks after the live Saturday Session. If supplies are needed for one or more of the presentations in order for the viewers to complete the activity being demonstrated, it will be available in the link to that presentation.
Registration is by a Chapter Fee of $200 (unlimited participation). For an additional event fee of $5 each, the Statesmen Exam will be available from Sunday through the following Friday (November 20th) until midnight. Testing Students MUST be registered to take the test before the conference.
We plan to provide MS and HS Robotics Virtual Tournaments as part of Virtual FLC. There will be a tournament entry fee of $20 for each team entered. VEX, VEX IQ and FLL events will be available. They will take place beginning after the completion of the General Session on Saturday, November 14 and after a break for lunch. Estimated Start Time will be 1pm. More details as they become available.
